Meet Dianne

The love and attention that are sewn into every quilt offer unique and lasting treasures, passed down through the generations. This was true for Dianne when she inherited several of her great-grandmother’s quilt tops and, as an adult, wanted to finish them. She started taking classes and did more than just finish the quilts; she carried on an important tradition by putting that same love and attention into the ones she makes for her family.

Diane has been with the shop for almost two years and says she gets so excited about a quilt she wants to work on that she often puts her current one on hold. She laughs when she says she doubts there’s a quilter on the face of the earth who’s only working on one project! Dianne does enjoy finishing a project and really enjoys piecing and all the hand work involved in quilt making.

Dianne and her husband Jim have two children: Mike and Catherine. And they are the proud grandparents of four young grandsons: Zac, 10; Nate, 7; Lane, 6; and Blake, 4. Dianne has many pastimes including cooking, reading and painting. She also volunteers as Bible study coordinator at her church in Edmond and is active with the Oklahoma County Home and Community Education program. But her favorite pastime is spending all the time she can with her grandsons.
