Okay, so maybe you’ve taken a machine quilting
class and you understand the basics. You’ve put some time on the
machine both straight line and free motion. It’s coming easier and
free motion is not so scary anymore, but you are ready to explore
more than stippling or meandering. This class is about taking
control and working on enjoyment as well. Bring your machine and
let’s see if we can’t help you venture off the usual path. I’ll bet
you can “draw” more with your needle than you think you can. Getting
more comfortable with spontaneous freehand quilting is what this
class is all about. We’ll also cover decorative threads, needles,
machine setup and tension adjustment, and useful tricks of the
trade. We won’t work too long or too hard, but enough to gain more
experience, increase your comfort zone, and allow you to move
forward in your skills.
