2 sessions - $30 - with Barbara Chaffin

I have a thing for small landscapes-- creating a scene I wish I were at or remembering something I’ve seen. They are not difficult or time consuming. They don’t have to be any bigger than 3 x 4”, but in this class we will work on one no bigger than a sheet of 8.5 x 11” paper. Now, don’t tell anyone, but this is an art quilt class. And please don’t panic at the thought of it! We’ll all be working on the same basic scene with a small number of pieces. Yes, you will have to choose some fabric, but no more than 6 kinds. This is the perfect vehicle for learning the techniques you will need to create more. I love doing these and I believe that this is within everyone’s reach. Anyone who’s taken a class of mine knows that I am committed to making them comfortable and enjoyable. As usual, the class will be small and there will be lots of personal attention. If you have taken my “Practical Color” class, this a natural next step. As for skill level, you will need some experience with free motion quilting and should be what I call an “advanced beginner” at a minimum.
