3
sessions - $50.00 – with Charlcie Guthery
You may be
thinking, “I would like to learn to make a quilt, but where do I
begin?” There are many places besides quilt stores providing quilt
making classes, and you also may be able to get a class elsewhere
for less money and time. Wouldn’t you rather take a beginning class
from a quilt shop whose teacher has been trained to teach beginners.
Remember, you do get what you pay for.
This is
Charlcie’s favorite class to teach because she feels it is very
important that every person gets a good solid start. If you have a
bad experience with your first class, then you probably will quit
and not receive the joy that most quilt makers get to experience.
Our class has been designed for the person who knows nothing, but
also can provide helpful hints and tips for those who are looking to
improve their present skills. We start right at the very beginning
by teaching you the correct usage of the rotary cutter and rulers.
You only need to know how to sew a straight stitch, so it does not
matter what your skill level is on the sewing machine or how old
your machine is. Our goal is to keep you from becoming overwhelmed
or intimidated. The class specializes in individual attention and
hands-on instruction. (Notebook required - $15.00 – payable to
teacher).
