Come learn the calming art of hand piecing. Hand piecing is mobile. You can piece in a waiting room, in front of the TV, or in your favorite quiet spot. Before you know it, you’ve assembled some blocks, then a quilt top. In this class we will cover the basics:

~ fabric handling                            ~ assembling blocks
~ template drafting                         ~ sewing on the bias
~ seam marking                            ~ sewing on a curve
~ using a needle and thimble          ~ sewing a “Y” seam
~ pressing

We will work with “practice fabrics” to help you get the feel of what you’re doing. You may decide to use what you make in class to start a quilt top.
