Basic Quiltmaking

This is a 3-part class specializing in individual attention
and hands-on training. In this class, you will learn the
basics on how to straighten fabric, properly use a rotary
cutter and ruler to cut strips to make your first quilt blocks,
and how to master that ¼” seam used in quiltmaking. In
addition, we will learn to make various fundamental quilt
blocks often used in both traditional and modern
quiltmaking. This class does not cover binding or
quilting.

Learn Needle Punch

Needle Punch or Punch Needle is a modern take on a vintage craft that first centered around rug making. This class will provide you with a simple project to begin your journey, teach you how to load your needle, hoop your project and pick out threads. Ruth offers lots of tips and techniques to be sure that each project is a success.
